ein stei, zwei stei, drü stei
(2025)
A group of salpeter boilers lift the cow dung and urine-soaked earth of a stable in Toggenburg in the 18th
century in order to wash out the saltpetre. Film technicians light up these scenes and to continue working
as saltpetre boilers. Afterwards they wash together in the river to get rid of the dirt. Even though they
endeavour to wash away the traces of their work, some of it still sticks to them.
